WANTED by Klickitat 9: We are a district with service area population of 110, yet 138 square miles to protect. This is complicated by State Route 14 running through the district. District 9 has been a small rural volunteer district for decades, and our equipment reflects that. Over the last several years the traffic on SR 14 has increased as has our need for more equipment with more capabilities. The commissioners of District 9 would like to get in contact with larger departments that may be upgrading equipment, and thus ready to purge some of their older equipment.

The following is a list of what we feel are our greatest needs at this time.

If you have any questions, please call 509.384.5192, email kcfpd9@embarqmail.com or write P O Box 147, Roosevelt, WA 99356. Thank you for considering us. We look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
The District 9 Commissioners: Bob Hanan, Jason Blain, George Wesley. (Posted 7/30)
