The Washington Fire Commissioners Association is gathering data for its annual Wage & Benefit Program. The survey results have proven to be a valuable resource to fire districts and regional fire authorities participating in contract negotiations or looking for comparable information.

In odd-numbered years, we gather complete information (union contracts, wages, benefits, budgets, volunteers and reimbursement schedules). In even-numbered years, we update general, budget and wage data only and provide it as a supplement to the previous year’s information.

If you would like to participate in this year’s Wage and Benefit Program, complete each part of the online survey that pertains to your fire district/RFA. The WFCA will compile the material and email the survey results to participating fire districts/RFAs (those that complete the questionnaire) in early June. The information provided is proprietary and should not be shared with other individuals or entities outside of the participating agency.
